Hue Magazine is a fictional magazine curated for a modern black audience. The magazine discusses art, business, and social issues that arise in the young black community. The design reflects its push modernity with minimalist layouts while staying creative for the younger audience. The feature article discusses the loneliness and discrimination felt in black travelers when going to predominantly Caucasian regions. The cut-out photos and stand-alone bodies emphasize the feeling of isolation in a place that is new. This project is a test to humanize and emphasize feelings through editorial design.
